Samsung Unveils “AI Home: Future Living, Now” Vision at IFA 2025

Samsung Showcases “AI Home: Future Living, Now” at IFA 2025

At Innovation For All (IFA) 2025, Samsung Electronics unveiled its vision for AI Home: Future Living, Now, bringing the future of AI-powered living into today’s homes. Designed to be accessible to all, not just a select few, Samsung’s AI Home reimagines the role of technology in everyday life.

“At Samsung, we’re not just imagining the future of AI — we’re building it into daily living,” said Cheolgi Kim (CK), Executive Vice President and Head of Digital Appliances (DA) Business at Samsung Electronics. “AI Home moves beyond smart devices to create homes that understand you, adapt to your needs and take care of what matters most. This is the beginning of a new era, where technology works quietly in the background so people can live more fully.”

Smarter Living, Backed by Consumer Insights

Samsung research shows that 66% of consumers find the idea of an AI-enabled home appealing, with many envisioning streamlined daily tasks (44%) and greater control via mobile or voice commands (45%).

AI Home delivers on this vision through SmartThings automated routines, simplifying lighting, temperature and even window blinds by syncing with real-time weather.

For families, who see their home as both a sanctuary (93%) and a social hub (80%), AI Home enhances shared moments with wellness monitoring, personalized sleep settings and nutrition planning.

Energy efficiency also ranks high among consumer expectations. With SmartThings Energy, AI Home can cut washing machine energy use by up to 70%, helping households save on costs while reducing their footprint.

Security remains a top concern, with 40% expecting AI to improve home protection. Samsung addresses this with Samsung Knox Vault, which protects sensitive data at the hardware level, and Knox Matrix, which extends defense across the entire connected ecosystem.

Bespoke AI Appliances Elevate Everyday Tasks

Samsung’s latest Bespoke AI lineup brings more intelligence to daily living:

  • Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra – now detects even transparent liquids with upgraded AI Object Recognition.
  • Bespoke AI Washer – AI Wash+ customizes cycles for clothing care and exceeds Grade A energy efficiency standards by 65%.
  • Bespoke AI Dishwasher – optimizes cycles based on soil levels and uses Auto Open Door to improve drying.
  • Extractor Induction Hob – integrates the extractor for a more streamlined kitchen design.

Vision AI Extends to Entertainmen

Samsung also showcased its Vision AI Companion, designed to feel more like a trusted companion than a device — providing natural, conversational interactions with contextual, human-like responses. With an open platform approach, Samsung is deepening collaborations with Google, Microsoft and Perplexity to expand AI capabilities.

Key entertainment highlights included:

  • Micro RGB – a 115” display delivering cinema-grade visuals with perfect color accuracy.
  • The Movingstyle – a portable, battery-powered touchscreen TV with adaptive AI for flexible use anywhere.
  • Samsung Sound Tower – powerful, portable sound with 18 hours of battery life and customizable light-and-sound effects.

Galaxy AI Scales Globally

Since its debut on the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung has committed to democratizing Galaxy AI across devices. After reaching over 200 million devices in 2024, Samsung now aims to expand Galaxy AI to more than 400 million devices worldwide by the end of 2025, bringing multimodal intelligence to an even broader ecosystem.

Experience AI Home at IFA 2025

Samsung’s exhibition is open September 5–9 at the CityCube Berlin, featuring a large-scale media art installation in collaboration with digital artist Maotik. Spanning a 50-meter-wide façade, the piece uses dynamic, wind-inspired waves of data to symbolize how Samsung’s AI technology is shaping everyday life.
