Lenovo has joined the ITU AI Skills Coalition, a global alliance of governments, industry leaders, and academic institutions working to expand access to AI education and accelerate progress toward the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Coalition’s mission is to democratize AI learning, close the global digital divide, and ensure inclusive access to AI knowledge—especially for youth, women, and underserved communities—through multilingual and accessible learning resources.
This collaboration reinforces Lenovo’s company-wide “Smarter AI for All” initiative, which focuses not only on developing powerful AI technologies but also on empowering individuals and communities with AI literacy—a cornerstone of responsible and inclusive innovation.
“Joining the ITU AI Skills Coalition reflects Lenovo’s belief that responsible AI innovation goes hand-in-hand with building AI literacy worldwide,” said Shama Patari, Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, Ethics & Compliance, Government Relations & Global Trade Regulations at Lenovo.
