
AMD Appoints Ariel Kelman as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer
AMD has named veteran technology executive Ariel Kelman as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, a move that underscores the company’s focus on strengthening its global brand and expanding engagement across the rapidly evolving AI and high-performance computing markets.
Kelman steps into the role effective immediately and will oversee AMD’s worldwide marketing organization. His responsibilities include brand strategy, corporate communications, global events, developer relations and go-to-market initiatives. He will report to Ruth Cotter, Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, and work closely with the executive leadership team to drive deeper connections with customers, partners and developers as AMD continues to scale its portfolio.

A Veteran of Global Technology Marketing
Kelman brings more than 20 years of experience leading large-scale global marketing organizations. Most recently, he served as President and Chief Marketing Officer at Salesforce, where he directed the company’s worldwide marketing strategy. His tenure there included oversight of major brand initiatives, global campaigns and large-scale events.
Prior to Salesforce, Kelman held senior leadership roles at Amazon Web Services and Oracle. In those positions, he helped scale marketing operations and modernize global teams during periods of rapid growth, giving him extensive experience in both enterprise and cloud-focused technology markets.
His background across major technology platforms is expected to support AMD’s efforts to position itself as a central player in the AI and data center ecosystem.
