AMD and Nokia Expand Collaboration to Power 5G Networks with 5th Gen EPYC™ Processors
AMD announced today that Nokia has selected its 5th Gen AMD EPYC™ processors to enhance the Nokia Cloud Platform, bringing top-tier performance and energy efficiency to next-generation telecom infrastructure.

The AMD EPYC 9005 Series processors will be integrated into the Nokia Cloud Platform, a foundational component for supporting containerized workloads essential to 5G Core, edge computing, and enterprise applications. This integration will enable Nokia to deliver leading performance per watt—crucial for addressing rising data demands and reducing environmental impact across modern telecom networks.
