Samsung and DC Studios Launch Global ‘Super Big’ Superman Campaign to Celebrate New Film

Samsung Electronics has officially announced a global collaboration with Warner Bros. and DC Studios to commemorate the release of the highly anticipated “Superman” film. This partnership will bring an array of immersive fan experiences, limited-edition content, and unique digital artwork to audiences around the world.

Through this initiative, Samsung aims to connect fans more closely with the legacy of the original Super Hero while showcasing its latest display innovations. The campaign spans digital platforms, retail locations, and major public spaces across the globe, all under the slogan: “It’s not just big. It’s super big.”

A Super Partnership for a Super Launch

The newly launched “Superman” film, written and directed by James Gunn, is the inaugural installment in DC Studios’ revamped cinematic universe. As the film hits theaters globally beginning July 9, Samsung is rolling out a campaign designed to enhance fan engagement in creative and memorable ways.

To bring the Superman celebration directly to fans, Samsung is launching activations across key global markets. In London, the campaign takes the form of immersive Daily Planet-themed newsstands located in high-traffic spots like The Shard and Kings Cross Station. These pop-ups will feature Superman-themed merchandise, promotional materials, and interactive elements designed to draw fans into the superhero world.

In Asia, the campaign ramps up even further with immersive activations at shopping malls in countries including Korea, Malaysia, and Vietnam. These events will feature Superman-themed photo booths, experiential pop-up displays, and hands-on product experiences that allow fans to see Samsung’s Super Big TVs in action while celebrating the iconic superhero.

In addition, fans worldwide will have the chance to participate in a social media challenge. By sharing their photos or videos from any of the campaign activations with the appropriate hashtags, participants could win exclusive prizes — including the massive 98-inch Samsung TV.

Superman Comes Home Through Digital Art

A key part of the campaign is the limited-time release of Superman-themed digital artwork on the Samsung Art Store, the company’s premium digital art platform. Available from July 1 through August 31, the collection features 10 curated Superman pieces from the archives of DC Comics. This collection is free for users during the promotion period and can be displayed on Samsung’s lifestyle TVs, including The Frame and select 2025 QLED and Neo QLED models.

With this initiative, Samsung gives fans a new way to bring Superman’s heroic imagery into their homes, blending art, technology, and storytelling.
