Garmin Debuts 110″ Force Kraken Trolling Motor

Garmin Introduces 110-Inch Shaft Force Kraken Trolling Motor for Large Coastal Boats

Garmin Ltd. , the global leader in marine electronics, has announced the expansion of its award-winning Force® Kraken trolling motor series with a new 110-inch shaft model—the largest in its lineup to date. This new version is specially designed for larger coastal vessels, such as center consoles, where bow space is often limited. Featuring a pivot-style mount, the 110-inch Kraken delivers Garmin’s renowned performance, power, and wireless integration in a durable and user-friendly design.

Power and Efficiency for Serious Anglers

At the heart of the Kraken is a brushless motor engineered to deliver unmatched thrust and efficiency. Depending on the power system, anglers can expect up to 100 pounds of thrust on a 36-volt setup or 80 pounds on a 24-volt system. This robust motor, paired with a high-efficiency propeller, provides extended run times—offering more time on the water and less worry about battery life.

Thanks to its brushless design, Kraken operates more quietly and efficiently than traditional brushed motors. The result is a smoother fishing experience, even during long days on the water. Whether you’re chasing inshore species or holding position over a reef, Kraken provides the power to stay in control.

Seamless Wireless Chartplotter Integration

Garmin continues to innovate with full wireless integration between Kraken and its marine chartplotters. Anglers can create and follow custom routes, patterns, or tracks, letting the trolling motor do the navigating while they focus on fishing. This hands-off approach to boat control is enhanced by intuitive autopilot functions, heading hold, and point-and-go gesture steering—all accessible from the included wireless remote.

The remote control floats and gives anglers precise control from anywhere onboard. Kraken is also compatible with Garmin’s quatix® smartwatches, such as the new quatix 8, allowing wrist-based control of steering, anchor lock, and other motor functions.

Live Sonar Ready

Installing and managing live sonar is easier than ever with Kraken’s built-in LiveScope™ cable management system. This feature allows the LiveScope transducer cable to run cleanly through the trolling motor shaft, reducing clutter and simplifying rigging.

When paired with the optional Kraken LiveScope Mounting Bracket, anglers can seamlessly use any LiveScope transducer in forward, down, or perspective modes. This compatibility enables a fully integrated fishing setup that delivers real-time sonar views in a variety of conditions.

Precision Boat Control

Staying on the fish is effortless with Kraken’s advanced anchor lock system. Powered by Garmin’s most precise boat positioning technology, the system uses multi-band GPS and an integrated AHRS (attitude and heading reference system) to hold position with pinpoint accuracy—even in current or wind.

Another standout feature is Kraken’s reverse thrust control, allowing anglers to quickly shift into reverse without manually rotating the motor head. This improves boat handling in tight quarters or when quick repositioning is necessary.

Built to Withstand the Elements

Engineered specifically for the demands of saltwater environments, the Force Kraken features a rugged composite shaft and corrosion-resistant components. The shaft comes with a lifetime warranty, and the entire trolling motor is backed by a three-year limited warranty. Designed to endure rough marine conditions, Kraken’s components are protected with advanced coatings and sealed electronics.

The 110-inch Force Kraken model also includes a deck mount stabilizer kit for added support during transport or rough seas. It will be available in both black and white finishes to match a variety of boat aesthetics.

Availability and Pricing

Expected to begin shipping next month, the 110-inch Force Kraken trolling motor has a suggested retail price of $6,499.99. It will be available through Garmin’s extensive network of dealers and retailers.
