Building Infrastructure for the AI Economy
Rubix officially launched in June 2026 as part of the Submer Group, a global organization focused on solving the infrastructure challenges associated with artificial intelligence.
The company plans to develop and operate an initial portfolio exceeding eight gigawatts (GW) of AI-ready data center capacity across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
This large-scale expansion reflects growing demand from hyperscale cloud providers, AI developers, and enterprise organizations seeking purpose-built facilities capable of supporting increasingly power-intensive AI workloads.
Unlike traditional enterprise data centers, AI facilities require significantly greater electrical capacity, advanced cooling systems, and optimized infrastructure capable of supporting high-density graphics processing unit (GPU) clusters.
Rubix aims to address these evolving requirements through integrated engineering, modular construction techniques, and accelerated project delivery.
End-to-End Development Capabilities
The company offers comprehensive development services covering every stage of the AI data center lifecycle.
Its capabilities extend from identifying suitable development sites and securing utility infrastructure to community engagement, engineering design, project construction, commissioning, and long-term operational management.
This end-to-end approach is intended to reduce deployment timelines while simplifying project execution for hyperscale cloud providers and enterprise AI customers.
Rubix combines these capabilities with Submer Group’s expertise in liquid cooling technologies, enabling efficient operation of high-density AI computing environments where traditional air-cooling solutions may no longer be sufficient.
Part of the Broader Submer Group Ecosystem
