Samsung Electronics today unveiled the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S11, its most intelligent and powerful tablets to date. Powered by the latest Galaxy AI, enhanced with One UI 8 and new multimodal capabilities, the Galaxy Tab S11 series delivers next-level productivity and creativity in Samsung’s thinnest tablet design yet.

With One UI 8, the Galaxy Tab S11 series introduces new multimodal AI experiences that understand what users type, say, and see — and respond in real time.
- Gemini Live allows real-time screen sharing and visual input, letting users ask contextual questions about on-screen content or even physical objects shown through the camera.
- With a long press of the side button, users can activate Gemini across apps. For example: “Summarize this article and save it to Samsung Notes.”
- Drawing Assist turns rough sketches into polished visuals.
- Writing Assist refines tone and style for professional results.
- Floating Galaxy AI overlay enables quick summaries without breaking workflow.
- Circle to Search with Google now includes real-time text translation while scrolling.
The newly redesigned S Pen enhances comfort and precision with a cone-shaped tip for better tilt control, a hexagonal ergonomic grip, and Quick Tools for instant adjustments while drawing or editing.
Multitasking Reinvented With Samsung DeX
The Galaxy Tab S11 series introduces major upgrades to Samsung DeX, designed for seamless productivity:
- Extended Mode transforms the Tab S11 and an external monitor into a true dual-screen setup, with apps that can move freely across displays.
- Users can create up to four customizable workspaces for different needs — from work to travel planning or creative projects.
- Combined with the Book Cover Keyboard Slim and a dedicated Galaxy AI Key, the Tab S11 becomes a portable workstation ready for any environment.

The Galaxy Tab S11 series debuts Samsung’s advanced 3nm processor in a tablet for the first time, boosting performance by 33% (NPU), 24% (CPU), and 27% (GPU) compared to the previous generation.

Availability
The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S11 launch globally starting September 4, available in Gray and Silver. One UI 8 will also roll out to previous Galaxy tablets, starting with the Tab S10 series in October.
