Lenovo and Aruba.it Racing – Ducati Celebrate Historic 2026 WorldSBK Triple Crown

Lenovo Technology Powers Aruba.it Racing – Ducati to Historic 2026 WorldSBK Triple Crown

Aruba.it Racing Ducati has completed a remarkable 2026 WorldSBK season by securing the championship’s Triple Crown, with Nicolò Bulega clinching the Riders’ Championship at Cremona with two rounds still remaining.

The achievement brings together three major titles: the Riders’, Teams’ and Manufacturers’ Championships. It also adds another milestone to Ducati’s 100th anniversary year, highlighting the combination of racing expertise, engineering innovation and data-driven technology behind the team’s success.

Lenovo, the Main Sponsor of Aruba.it Racing – Ducati, has supported the team throughout the season with high-performance computing and edge technology designed to help engineers process large volumes of race data and make informed decisions between sessions.

A season of record-breaking performance

Ducati secured the 2026 WorldSBK Manufacturers’ Championship at Donington Park with four rounds still remaining, marking its fifth consecutive Manufacturers’ title in the championship.

Aruba.it Racing – Ducati also secured the Teams’ Championship during the same weekend, setting the stage for the Triple Crown.

At the heart of the team’s campaign was the new Ducati Panigale V4 R, which incorporates aerodynamic concepts developed through MotoGP experience alongside updates to its chassis, front frame and double-sided swingarm.

The motorcycle has provided the foundation for an exceptional season for Bulega and teammate Iker Lecuona. Bulega’s campaign has been particularly notable, with the rider claiming his first WorldSBK Riders’ Championship and setting a new championship record of 25 consecutive wins.

Behind the results is an increasingly sophisticated approach to race engineering, where every session generates valuable information that can influence the next setup decision.

Turning race data into performance

Modern motorcycle racing generates enormous volumes of data. Every lap can provide insights into the performance of the bike, rider and individual components, creating a constant stream of information for engineers to analyze.

For Aruba.it Racing – Ducati, Lenovo technology plays an important role in turning that information into actionable insights.

The team uses Lenovo ThinkSystem SE350 edge servers and Lenovo ThinkPad P1 mobile workstations to handle demanding race-data workloads. The combination provides engineers with the computing performance needed to process large datasets while remaining practical for a racing environment that requires technology to travel from circuit to circuit throughout the season.

During a WorldSBK weekend, Ducati engineers can process as much as 40GB of data. That information can include data gathered from the motorcycle during practice, qualifying and races, helping engineers understand performance and identify potential setup changes.

The challenge is not simply the volume of information. It is the limited amount of time available to interpret it.

With sometimes less than two hours between sessions, engineers need to transform raw data into useful insights quickly. The resulting analysis can influence suspension settings, electronics, chassis configurations and other aspects of the motorcycle’s setup before the next session begins.

Technology under racing constraints

WorldSBK regulations prohibit real-time analysis during racing, making the ability to process information rapidly between sessions particularly important.

Rather than continuously analyzing data while the motorcycle is on track, engineers must work within defined windows to review performance and determine what changes should be made.

This creates a demanding cycle: collect data, process it, interpret the results, make a decision and implement the appropriate setup changes — all before the riders return to the track.

Lenovo’s computing solutions support this workflow by providing the processing capability required at the circuit, helping the team make the most of the limited time available between sessions.

Because the equipment travels with the team to every WorldSBK round, reliability and portability are equally important. Race environments can involve constant movement, tight schedules and demanding operating conditions, making robust technology a critical part of the team’s infrastructure.

A partnership built around performance

The relationship between Lenovo and Aruba.it Racing – Ducati reflects the increasingly important role technology plays in professional motorsport.

While the rider and motorcycle remain at the centre of racing performance, the ability to understand data and respond quickly can provide another important advantage. Engineers must make decisions based on thousands of data points while balancing performance, reliability and the specific characteristics of each circuit.

For Lenovo, the partnership provides an opportunity to demonstrate how high-performance computing and edge technology can support decision-making in an environment where time is limited and every detail matters.

“This extraordinary Triple Crown is the result of exceptional talent, determination and teamwork performed at the highest level,” said Enza Truzzolillo, Managing Director and General Manager, Lenovo Italy.

“We are proud that Lenovo’s technology has supported Aruba.it Racing – Ducati throughout the season, helping the team make faster, more informed decisions in an environment where every detail can make a difference. This achievement highlights the value of a partnership built on innovation, excellence and a shared commitment to performance. Congratulations to Nicolò Bulega and the entire team on a truly historic accomplishment.”

Reliability wherever the race takes the team

For Aruba.it Racing – Ducati, technology needs to deliver consistently across an entire season that takes the team to circuits around the world.

Stefano Cecconi, Aruba CEO and Aruba.it Racing – Ducati Team Principal, emphasized the importance of reliable technology in supporting the team’s operations.

“It’s been a great season and to top it off with the Triple Crown is a fantastic result for everyone involved. A special thanks to our partner Lenovo and everyone behind the scenes who has contributed to such a successful season,” said Cecconi.

“The WorldSBK championship is demanding not just for the riders and team but also for the technology we rely on. That’s why we look to Lenovo to provide high-performance solutions that are reliable and able to perform in tough environments, anywhere in the world.”

A milestone in Ducati’s centenary year

The Triple Crown adds another achievement to a landmark year for Ducati.

Founded in 1926, Ducati is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2026, marking a century of motorcycle engineering, design and racing heritage.

The manufacturer has built a strong record in both MotoGP and WorldSBK. In WorldSBK, the 2026 Manufacturers’ Championship represents Ducati’s fifth consecutive title, while Aruba.it Racing – Ducati has also secured five consecutive Teams’ Championships from 2022 through 2026.

Bulega’s Riders’ Championship completes the latest chapter in that success. The rider, who previously won the 2023 Supersport World Championship with the Aruba.it Racing team on the Ducati Panigale V2, has now reached the top of the WorldSBK category.

Together with Lecuona, Bulega helped deliver the team’s Triple Crown, combining the Riders’, Teams’ and Manufacturers’ titles.

Technology and racing working together

The 2026 season demonstrates how modern motorsport is increasingly shaped by the interaction between human expertise, engineering and data.

The rider’s feedback, the motorcycle’s performance and the information generated on track all contribute to the decisions made between sessions. Lenovo’s technology provides the computing foundation that enables engineers to process that information quickly and efficiently.

For Aruba.it Racing – Ducati, the result is a technology-supported approach to racing that complements Ducati’s engineering heritage and the team’s expertise.

As Ducati celebrates its centenary with another WorldSBK championship milestone, the 2026 Triple Crown represents more than a collection of titles. It highlights how advanced engineering, data-driven decision-making and reliable technology can work together at the highest level of motorcycle racing.
