Lenovo and Eva Longoria Launch “Call Eva” to Support Entrepreneurs
Lenovo Every entrepreneur has questions. Whether it is how to manage rapid growth, hire the right people, adopt new technology or simply make a difficult decision, running a business can often feel like a solitary journey. Lenovo is addressing that challenge with a new initiative designed to give entrepreneurs something many business owners need most: someone to call.
As part of its global Backing Every Business program, Lenovo has launched Call Eva, an initiative that gives entrepreneurs a direct opportunity to seek insights from actress, producer, entrepreneur and Lenovo global ambassador Eva Longoria. Through the program, business owners can call and leave a voice message describing their biggest business, leadership or entrepreneurship questions. Selected callers may then have the opportunity to speak with Longoria live on September 16.
The idea behind Call Eva is straightforward: every entrepreneur needs someone they can call.
For many small-business owners, the pressure of making decisions rests largely on their shoulders. The challenges can range from managing employees and finding customers to balancing growth with limited resources and determining how emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence can benefit their businesses. While no two companies are alike, many of the problems entrepreneurs encounter are remarkably similar.
Call Eva aims to create a space where those questions can be shared, discussed and transformed into practical insights that can benefit a much broader community of business owners.
From entrepreneurship to mentorship
Longoria brings firsthand experience to the initiative. In addition to her career in entertainment as an actress, director and producer, she is an entrepreneur and investor with ventures spanning food, beverage, media and other consumer businesses. She also founded the Eva Longoria Foundation, which focuses on expanding educational and economic opportunities for Latinas.
Her role with Lenovo extends beyond the Call Eva initiative. Longoria serves as the global ambassador for Lenovo’s Twinning initiative, which connects entrepreneurs from different markets who face similar business challenges. By creating peer-to-peer relationships, Twinning enables business owners to exchange experiences, perspectives and practical advice.
That philosophy is central to Lenovo’s Backing Every Business program, which recognizes that technology is only one part of what entrepreneurs need to succeed. Access to knowledge, trusted advice and a supportive community can be equally important.
Earlier this year, Lenovo put that approach into practice by connecting small-business owners across Japan, Mexico, the United Kingdom and the United States. The initiative brought together entrepreneurs facing common challenges and gave them opportunities to learn from one another, share experiences and work through real-world business issues.
Call Eva expands that support model by creating another channel for entrepreneurs to ask questions and draw on the experience of a fellow business owner.
“One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned as an entrepreneur is that you don’t have to have all the answers yourself. Some of the best decisions start with asking someone you trust for insights, a fresh perspective or even just reassurance that you’re heading in the right direction,” said Eva Longoria, actress, producer, entrepreneur and Lenovo’s Twinning global ambassador.
“That’s what I love about Lenovo’s Backing Every Business initiative and now Call Eva. We’re giving entrepreneurs a place to bring the questions they’re really wrestling with, because chances are, another business owner has faced similar dilemmas. If something I’ve learned along the way can help someone better navigate a challenge, make a tough decision or take their next step with more confidence, that’s incredibly meaningful to me.”
Addressing the questions that matter
Through CallEvaNow.com, entrepreneurs can submit questions covering some of the most pressing issues facing small businesses today. Topics may include business growth, leadership, hiring, marketing, artificial intelligence adoption and managing competing priorities.
Longoria will respond to selected questions during the live session, drawing on her own experiences as an entrepreneur and business owner. The objective is not simply to answer individual questions, but to turn those questions into conversations that can resonate with other founders facing comparable situations.
For entrepreneurs, the value may come not only from a specific piece of advice, but also from recognizing that the challenges they face are shared by others.
Lenovo says the initiative reflects a broader understanding of how technology and human support can work together to help small businesses grow.
“Technology can unlock enormous opportunities for small businesses, but technology alone doesn’t build a business. Entrepreneurs also need access to trusted advice, shared experiences and a community that understands the realities of building and growing a business,” said Emily Ketchen, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Intelligent Devices Group and International Markets, Lenovo.
“Backing Every Business brings those pieces together and Call Eva gives us a new avenue to extend that support while listening directly to entrepreneurs about the challenges they’re navigating. By understanding their questions, we can continue to find meaningful ways to help small businesses move forward and grow with confidence.”

Backing entrepreneurs beyond technology
Call Eva is the latest example of Lenovo’s effort to position its technology portfolio alongside broader support for entrepreneurs and small businesses. Through Backing Every Business, the company is seeking to recognize the practical realities of running a business and provide resources that extend beyond hardware and software.
As artificial intelligence, cloud services and digital tools increasingly reshape how small businesses operate, access to technology can create new opportunities. But entrepreneurs must still determine where those tools can make a meaningful difference, how to integrate them into existing workflows and how to balance technology investments against other business priorities.
By connecting entrepreneurs with people who have navigated similar challenges, Lenovo aims to complement technological innovation with human experience and peer-to-peer learning.
At its core, Call Eva is built around a simple message: entrepreneurs do not have to navigate every challenge alone. A question that feels unique to one business may be a challenge another founder has already encountered. Sharing those experiences can help turn uncertainty into confidence and difficult decisions into opportunities for growth.
For Lenovo, the initiative reinforces the central philosophy of Backing Every Business — that businesses can go further when they have access not only to the right technology, but also to the right people, perspectives and support.
