NVIDIA DLSS 5 Powers ‘NBA 2K27’ as 28 New Games Arrive on GeForce NOW

GeForce NOW Adds 28 New Games in September, Led by NBA 2K27 With NVIDIA DLSS 5

NVIDIA September is bringing another packed lineup to GeForce NOW, with 28 new games joining NVIDIA’s cloud gaming service throughout the month. Leading the charge is NBA 2K27, which arrives with NVIDIA DLSS 5 3D-Guided Neural Rendering, bringing enhanced visual realism to the basketball court.

The latest addition is the result of close collaboration between NVIDIA, Visual Concepts and 2K. DLSS 5 is designed to enhance lighting, materials and character details, helping NBA 2K27 deliver a more authentic broadcast-style presentation.

The September lineup also gives players plenty of variety beyond the hardwood. Members can explore the dark-fantasy world of The Blood of Dawnwalker, battle supernatural enemies in Onimusha: Way of the Sword, and look forward to a selection of new releases and returning favorites throughout the month.

NBA 2K27 Takes the Court With DLSS 5

The NVIDIA biggest highlight of September’s GeForce NOW lineup is NBA 2K27, which brings NVIDIA DLSS 5 3D-Guided Neural Rendering to cloud gaming at launch.

Developed in collaboration with Visual Concepts and 2K, the technology enhances the game’s lighting and material rendering to create a more lifelike presentation. Details such as how light interacts with players’ skin and hair, as well as the geometry of athletes’ faces, receive additional attention.

The result is a more authentic visual experience designed to complement the game’s broadcast-inspired presentation.

For GeForce NOW Ultimate members in NVIDIA-operated regions, NBA 2K27 can be streamed across a wide range of devices, including PCs, Macs, handheld gaming devices, smartphones, tablets and TVs.

DLSS 5 is available when the game is streamed using a GeForce RTX 5080-powered cloud gaming rig, giving players access to enhanced visuals without needing to download or install the game locally.

That means players can jump onto the court without worrying about lengthy downloads, storage requirements or hardware upgrades.

Enter a Dark World in The Blood of Dawnwalker

For players looking for something darker, Rebel Wolves’ The Blood of Dawnwalker is now streaming on GeForce NOW.

This open-world dark-fantasy action RPG takes players to an alternate version of 14th-century Europe, where war, plague and supernatural forces have transformed the continent.

Players take on the role of Coen, a young Dawnwalker fighting to save his family while struggling with a supernatural curse. Coen’s abilities change depending on whether it is day or night, creating different opportunities for exploration, combat and progression.

The NVIDIA game’s day-and-night system is central to the experience, forcing players to balance Coen’s human side with his growing vampiric powers.

GeForce NOW members can stream the adventure from supported devices, while Ultimate members can tap into GeForce RTX 5080-class performance in the cloud. With the game handled remotely, players can skip local installation and storage management and get straight into the action.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword Returns to the Cloud

Another major September release is Capcom’s Onimusha: Way of the Sword, which arrives on GeForce NOW at launch.

The NVIDIA latest entry takes players into a supernatural interpretation of Edo-period Kyoto. Players control a lone samurai equipped with the mystical Oni Gauntlet and must battle the Genma while navigating a world distorted by mysterious clouds of Malice.

Combat centers on precise swordplay, powerful supernatural abilities and the ability to absorb souls from defeated enemies.

Ultimate members can stream the game with GeForce RTX 5080-class performance across PCs, Macs, handhelds, mobile devices, TVs and the newly supported Firefox browser.

As with other GeForce NOW titles, players can avoid lengthy installations and storage concerns by streaming the game directly from the cloud.

August Added Even More to the Library

The momentum carries over from August, which brought 26 previously announced games to GeForce NOW alongside 18 additional titles.

These included Cat Mail Co., Stars Reach, DIVE or DIE – Children of Rain, Parcel Simulator and IRON NEST: Heavy Turret Simulator.

Players also gained access to several notable games through supported storefronts and services, including Hell Is Us, The Thaumaturge, Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered, STAR WARS Zero Company, Baldur’s Gate 3, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, No Man’s Sky and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Cloud Gaming Without the Downloads

One of GeForce NOW’s biggest advantages remains its ability to let players stream supported PC games without installing them locally. That means less time managing downloads and storage and more time playing.

The service also allows players to access demanding games across a wide range of devices, making high-end PC gaming more flexible.

For newcomers, NVIDIA offers a day pass that provides an opportunity to try premium cloud gaming before committing to a monthly membership. The cost of the day pass can also be applied toward a first monthly membership, making it easier for players to test the experience before upgrading.

With NBA 2K27 leading the way with DLSS 5, major releases such as The Blood of Dawnwalker and Onimusha: Way of the Sword, and a steady stream of additional games arriving throughout September, GeForce NOW is heading into the month with a lineup built for both longtime members and newcomers.
