
TDK presents custom sensing solutions for physical AI applications at Sensors Converge 2026
TDK Corporation will showcase its custom sensing solutions at the Sensors Converge 2026 Expo, May 6 to 7 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California (Booth #722). TDK will demonstrate a broad portfolio of advanced sensing solutions and system-level innovations with a focus on solutions from InvenSense, a TDK Group company, designed to power next-generation applications including physical AI and audio AI. Visitors can engage with experts and presentations highlighting emerging sensor technologies for real-world use cases across consumer, industrial, and automotive applications.
On May 6, 9:05 a.m., InvenSense CTO Omar Abed will deliver the keynote: “Reimagining the Human-Machine Interface: AI-Integrated Smart Glasses Powered by Advanced Sensors.” The presentation will explore sensing approaches and design strategies shaping this emerging category – along with areas where further innovation is needed across component manufacturers, system designers, and integrators.
Also on May 6, 11:25 a.m., InvenSense Director Jim Lin will present a Live Theater session titled “Visualizing the Future of Sensor Evaluation and Fusion.“ The session will demonstrate a new software solution designed to address common challenges in IMU validation, enabling developers to more accurately assess sensor performance and unlock the full capabilities of their systems.

AI at the Edge with Synthesized Sensor Data: TDK will announce and showcase a new artificial intelligence sensor solution which will use advanced generative AI techniques with real-world measurements allowing for synthetic data to be created to help engineers overcome data pipeline limitations to dramatically improve the scalability, performance, and reliability of intelligent systems at the edge.
Leading up to Sensors Converge, Fierce Sensors and Questex honored InvenSense CEO Joseph Bousaba as a finalist for Executive of the Year in the Best of Sensors 2026 Awards, which will be celebrated in an award ceremony on May 6 at 5:30pm at Sensors Converge.
