iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max Are Almost Here
iPhone It’s almost time to experience the next generation of iPhone Pro. Starting Saturday, September 12, at 5 a.m. PT, customers can pre-order iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max through Apple’s website and the Apple Store app. Both models will be available in stores and online worldwide beginning Friday, September 18.
The iPhone 18 Pro lineup introduces significant improvements across photography, performance, battery life, and intelligence. At the heart of the camera system is a new 48MP Fusion Main camera with variable aperture, giving photographers greater control over depth of field and lighting. This new technology opens up creative possibilities while making it easier to capture high-quality photos in a wider range of conditions.
Apple is also introducing new Pro controls within the Camera app. These controls allow users to customize their camera experience and quickly access the settings they use most often. Updated Photographic Styles add even more creative flexibility with new texture and grain controls, while Cinematic effects can be applied after recording to videos captured at up to 60 frames per second.
Performance receives a major boost as well. Both iPhone 18 Pro models are powered by Apple’s A20 Pro chip and feature a next-generation vapor chamber designed to maintain high performance for longer periods. This is particularly important for demanding activities such as gaming, video editing, photography, and on-device artificial intelligence.
Battery life has also received considerable attention. Updated battery designs combined with improved silicon efficiency help the new iPhones deliver longer-lasting performance. The iPhone 18 Pro Max offers the biggest increase in battery life ever seen on an iPhone, making it particularly appealing to users who rely heavily on their devices throughout the day.
The iPhone 18 Pro lineup also introduces the next generation of Apple Intelligence and Siri AI with iOS 27. The redesigned Siri is designed to be more personal, capable, and conversational, using personal context, broader world knowledge, and onscreen awareness to help users find information and complete tasks more naturally.
The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max will be available in four finishes: black, silver, glacier, and a new burgundy color.
Apple Makes Upgrading Easier
For customers purchasing directly from Apple, there are several ways to make upgrading more affordable and convenient. Apple Specialists can help shoppers choose the right product, explore financing and leasing options, compare carrier deals, and arrange home delivery or Apple Store pickup.
Apple Trade In provides another way to reduce the cost of a new device. Customers trading in an iPhone 13 or later can receive between $175 and $885 in credit, depending on the device and its condition. The credit can be applied toward a new iPhone or used to reduce monthly payments through eligible purchasing options.
Apple Upgrade, provided by Klarna, offers flexible leasing options for iPhone and Apple Watch, with 12- and 24-month terms available. Eligible Mac Studio customers can also choose 24- or 36-month leasing options. At the end of an eligible lease, customers can upgrade to a newer device, purchase the current device, or return it.
Apple is also working with major wireless carriers to provide additional savings. This fall, eligible customers can receive up to $1,200 in credit from participating carriers when trading in an iPhone 14 or newer toward an iPhone 18 Pro or iPhone 18 Pro Max.
For customers in the U.S., Apple Card Monthly Installments provide another payment option, allowing eligible purchases to be spread over time at 0 percent APR. Customers can also earn 3 percent Daily Cash when purchasing eligible products with Apple Card.
