LG India Launches New Semi-Automatic Washing Machine Range With Powerful Performance and Smart Convenience
LG Electronics India Limited has introduced a new range of semi-automatic washing machines designed to combine powerful cleaning performance, practical convenience, durable construction and a bold, premium aesthetic. The new portfolio includes 15 models with capacities ranging from 8 kg to 12 kg, giving Indian consumers a wider selection to suit different household sizes, laundry volumes and design preferences.
The company also announced plans to begin exporting its AX Semi-Automatic Washing Machines in 2027, with the lineup expected to reach more than 10 countries globally.
With the latest range, LG is looking to raise the bar for semi-automatic washing machines by addressing several common laundry challenges faced by consumers. These include detergent residue left on clothes, lint accumulation, stubborn stains, slow drying and concerns around the durability of washing machine lids.

At the center of the new lineup is LG’s Dual Spin Shower, a technology designed to improve rinsing performance. The system uses two powerful water inlets to help wash away residual detergent more effectively, leaving clothes cleaner and fresher after the wash cycle.
Another key feature is the Roller Jet Pulsator+, whose design is inspired by a whale-tail shape. The pulsator generates dynamic water movement inside the tub, helping improve the circulation of clothes during washing. This movement is designed to support more effective dirt removal while helping care for fabrics.
For heavily soiled areas, LG has incorporated its Ultra Scrub Wall. The feature uses a specialized scrub pattern intended to tackle stubborn dirt around areas such as cuffs, collars and other parts of garments that can require additional cleaning attention.
The machines also feature a New Smart Filter, which is designed to capture lint during the washing process. The filter can be easily removed and cleaned, helping consumers maintain the machine and reduce the effort associated with keeping the washing system in good condition.

Faster Drying and Greater Flexibility
Drying performance is another area addressed by LG’s new semi-automatic lineup. The machines incorporate Wind Jet Dry+, which uses powerful airflow during the spinning process to help remove excess moisture from clothes.
By reducing the amount of water remaining in garments after the spin cycle, the technology is designed to help clothes dry faster. This can be particularly useful for households managing frequent laundry loads or dealing with situations where garments need to be ready for use within a shorter period.
The new range also offers 3+1 wash programs, providing users with additional flexibility for different laundry requirements. The programs allow households to select washing options according to their specific needs rather than relying on a single standard cycle.
For additional durability, LG has included Rat Away Technology, designed to provide added protection for the washing machine and support long-term reliability.

The lineup is available in colours including Onyx Black, Middle Black and Burgundy, providing consumers with alternatives to more traditional appliance finishes.
Select models also feature a Toughened Glass Lid with a soft-closing mechanism. The combination is designed to improve durability while providing smoother and quieter operation. The glass lid also contributes to the more premium appearance of the selected models.
