Designed to meet the needs of everyone from students and everyday users to developers, creatives, professionals, and businesses, the new Mac mini combines a compact footprint with substantial performance. Mac Studio takes things even further, offering Apple’s most powerful Mac platform for demanding professional workloads, including advanced graphics, video production, 3D rendering, and artificial intelligence.
With M6, Mac mini delivers up to 4x faster AI performance, 2x faster graphics and storage, and up to 40 percent faster CPU performance. These improvements make it well suited to everyday multitasking, productivity applications, agentic AI workflows, music production, software development, and other demanding tasks.
For users Apple requiring even more performance, Mac mini with M5 Pro delivers enhanced capabilities for complex projects such as video production and game development.

It Mac mini with M6 features a 12-core CPU, a 12-core GPU with Neural Accelerators built into every core, and a new Dual 16-core Neural Engine. Together, these technologies provide the performance needed for everything from everyday productivity to more advanced AI workloads.
The Apple M6 model starts with 16GB of unified memory and can be configured with up to 32GB. Memory bandwidth reaches up to 170GB/s, helping users work across multiple applications and demanding workloads with greater responsiveness.
It says Mac mini with M6 delivers up to 4x faster AI performance, supporting the growing range of on-device and agentic AI experiences available to users.
Mac mini with M5 Pro is designed for more demanding professional workloads. It can be configured with an up-to-18-core CPU and an up-to-20-core GPU, as well as up to 64GB of unified memory and up to 307GB/s of memory bandwidth.
Both models include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and upgraded 2.5Gb Ethernet, with a 10Gb Ethernet option available. College students and educators can also take advantage of year-round education pricing, with Mac mini featuring M6 starting at $799.
For other customers, Apple Mac mini with M6 starts at $899, while Mac mini with M5 Pro starts at $1,699.
Mac Studio Raises the Bar for Professional Workloads
Apple For professionals working with the most demanding applications, Apple is positioning the new Mac Studio as its most powerful Mac yet.
Mac Studio with M5 Max features an 18-core CPU and an up-to-40-core GPU, with Neural Accelerators integrated into every GPU core. It supports up to 128GB of unified memory, providing the resources needed for demanding workflows in areas such as music production, photography, software engineering, design, real-time 3D, motion graphics, and AI.
The M5 Ultra configuration takes performance to an even higher level. It features an up-to-36-core CPU, an up-to-80-core GPU, and support for up to 512GB of unified memory. With memory bandwidth reaching 1.2TB/s, Mac Studio with M5 Ultra is designed for highly intensive workloads, including real-time color grading of uncompressed 8K footage, complex visual effects, and running large language models directly on the device.
It Both Mac Studio models include Thunderbolt 5, supporting data transfer speeds of up to 120Gb/s. This enables users to connect high-speed external storage, PCIe expansion chassis, and advanced hub solutions.
For It users seeking additional computing power, Thunderbolt 5 with Remote Direct Memory Access, or RDMA, allows multiple Mac Studio systems to be clustered. Apple says this configuration can provide up to 3x faster performance for distributed AI inference compared with a single system.
Mac Studio also supports up to eight displays, or up to four Studio Display XDR monitors operating at full 5K resolution and 120Hz, giving professionals a large workspace for complex creative and technical projects.

Both Mac mini and Mac Studio are designed with on-device AI in mind. Their latest-generation GPUs feature Neural Accelerators in every core, while advanced CPUs and Neural Engines provide additional computing resources for AI-related workloads.
The combination of It silicon and macOS 27 also introduces new Apple Intelligence capabilities designed to make the Mac more useful across everyday tasks.
macOS 27 Brings New Apple Intelligence Features
The Apple new Mac mini and Mac Studio run macOS 27, also known as macOS 27 Golden Gate. The operating system introduces new features across the Mac experience, including Siri AI, expanded It Intelligence capabilities, and improvements designed to make the platform more responsive and customizable.
Siri AI is designed to provide a more capable and personalized assistant. It can use personal context to help users find information across messages, emails, and photos, answer questions, and perform tasks across applications.
Siri AI is also integrated into Spotlight and systemwide context menus. Users can ask Siri about information displayed on their screen through Visual Intelligence, while a dedicated keyboard shortcut provides quick access. Write with Siri allows users to write and edit text in many places across the system.
It Intelligence also adds new capabilities to individual applications. In Safari, new tools can automatically organize tabs into topics and alert users to website changes, such as product restocks or price drops. Users can also create custom extensions based on a description.
In Shortcuts, users can create automations simply by describing what they want to accomplish. The Photos app gains advanced editing capabilities, while improvements to search and performance make familiar features more responsive.
